The mission of West Park Barber School is to provide the highest quality education in a positive environment, with award-winning educators imparting the knowledge necessary for licensure and employment in our growing industry.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE
West Park Barber School is a postsecondary trade school that educates and provides knowledge for licensure in our growing industry. The principal objective of West Park Barber School is to provide our students with an educational program to prepare graduates for employment as an advanced licensed barbers.
Through the use of our interactive classrooms, library and demonstration rooms, students will learn the theory of barbering. Our students will learn to apply and incorporate this knowledge by performing practical services on real customers on the clinic floor, an environment that mimics that of a real barbershop, so students can practice barbering with confidence.
Students will develop a habit of executing work properly while displaying professional ethical standards. Students will experience a level of motivation that will encourage growth and the desire to keep up with new barbering techniques and trends by attending workshops and seminars for continuing education.
Our goal is to graduate barber students with a high degree of knowledge and technical skills.
OUR IMPACT
Our program will open up potential career opportunities for local residents. We plan to provide mentorship for our students and neighborhood youth. Our commitment is to continuously support the public, by offering outreach programs, providing free haircuts for families and participating in local give-back programs. In addition, the school will have a positive impact on the community. West Park Barber School will offer scholarship programs that provide financial assistance for tuition.
